To build your profile and enable community features, we collect:

• Biography and favorite genres (optional)

Content & Activity

When you interact with the community we process:

• Posts, comments, reactions, and uploads
• Favorite films and personal lists
• Blacklist entries (hidden users or content)

Device & Usage Information

We automatically receive:

• Device model, OS version, unique device identifier
• IP address and general location (city/region)
• Crash logs and performance metrics
• Feature usage statistics

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information above to:

• Create and secure your account
• Personalize film recommendations and community feeds
• Enable posting, browsing, favoriting, and blocking
• Monitor and improve performance and stability
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

We integrate trusted providers for functions such as analytics, crash reporting, and cloud storage. These partners receive only the technical information necessary to perform their services and are contractually bound to use it solely on our behalf.

• Content you delete is removed from active servers within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

If you access Halyn from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email, and the “Effective Date” will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Halyn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
